The Golf Shop Certification Program is a comprehensive dive into understanding how to best utilize the software to streamline your golf shop and merchandising operations.
 
For $299, you will earn your 'Certified Genius' status through three levels of learning.
 
The first will cover all the basics required for managing your golf shop account.
 
The second will share the features that help make Golf Genius Golf Shop instrumental in enhancing your customers’ experience and your merchandising operations.
 
The third level will test your command of this newly acquired knowledge through the creation of a mock season as you walk in the steps of a golf shop professional.
 
After the initial 12-month education period, a $100 fee is charged for each student on an annually-recurring basis. This fee serves two different purposes for students, as outlined below.

If a student successfully graduates the Golf Shop Certification Program and becomes a Certified Genius, it is important to remain educated on our ever-evolving software. The $100 fee will give the Genius access to our Genius Library, which is full of continuing education material. Content is added on a regular basis, and all Certified Geniuses will receive an email when new content has been added.

If a student does not graduate the Golf Shop Certification Program in the original 12-month window, the fee will automatically grant the student a 12-month extension. They can pick up where they left off and continue their journey to becoming a Certified Genius.
 
Many participants have found success by discussing the cost with their facility. In several cases, facilities have reimbursed students upon completion, so it may be worth exploring that option with your employer.
The Certification Program is designed for individual participants who want to deepen their knowledge of Golf Genius Golf Shop and grow their value within the golf industry. At this time, group rates or multi-person discounts are not available, as the program is individually priced to reflect the personalized training and support provided.
 
The average completion time for the program falls between 45 to 50 hours. However, this can vary depending on individual schedules. The program is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to work through the content at your own pace, balancing it with your job and other responsibilities. Each module flows seamlessly into the next, and our certification team reviews and grades practical submissions promptly to help you stay on track.
Once you complete all three levels of the program, you’ll earn the title of Certified Genius and receive an official Certificate of Completion recognizing your achievement. For participants outside the U.S., a PDF version of the certificate will be sent via email.
